How long is a session?

Sessions are typically one hour. Smart Singer Studio offers 45 minute session for young beginners (age 10 and under).

How often should I come?

Some students come weekly, others bi-weekly. We can discuss what might work best for you. Consistency is what matters. I encourage all students to bring a recording device to our sessions so that they have a practice tool available in between sessions.

What happens in the lesson?

Each one hour session is tailored to the individual student. We will cover a range of topics to help develop the singers skills. An example of a typical session would be:

• 10 minutes breathing/posture

• 10 minutes vocal exercises (designed to help the individual student)

• 10 minutes musicianship

• 30 minutes development of repertoire

Where are you located?

Smart Singer Studio is located at 31 Hallsdale Drive, Louisville KY 40220. It is fine (encouraged) to park in the driveway and enter through back gate!
